Today’s plan was to do one part of the Sin Ho valley loop. We took the longer route to reach Sin Ho town as you can see in the map.
We started our morning with some vegetarian Pho.
It was drizzling but we decided to keep moving ahead unless it pours heavily.
The scenery started getting interesting as we moved away from the city. We had to stop many times for the pictures:
At one point as I was waiting for Yaser to catch up but there was no sign of him for a quite some time. After a while, a truck came and the driver pointed to me in the backward direction. My mind was filled with scary scenarios as I rode in the opposite direction. I was already expecting the worst. Finally, I saw Yaser riding towards me and it was a huge relief to see him alive. But he did have an accident, where he skidded and almost went under a truck and somehow managed to kick against the wheels of the truck. Just thinking about it scares me. He was bleeding a little around his knees and elbow.
His motorcycle was damaged a little. The handle axis was twisted and the front guard as broken. I rode his bike to the nearest mechanic and we called the Flamingo staff, who coordinated with the mechanic to fix the bike.
We had a 2-3 hour break as the bike was fixed, which gave enough time for Yaser to dress up his wounds. We finally resumed around 14.30. As we took the turn towards Sin Ho towards road 128, the scenery notched up a level. We had the road mostly to ourselves.
Yaser blaming the scenery as he drops the bike again
It got dark around 16.30 and we were still 30 kms from the town. To make it worse, the road was covered with mist. Luckily there were some locals riding the same way and we just followed them till Sin Ho. We had a tiring day and luckily we got good food and a beer to enjoy.
