Document requirements of Afghanistan Visa for Indians:
- Cover letter (mentioning your itinerary and the places you will be staying)
- Application form
- 2-3 photos
Submit the above mentioned documents at the Afghanistan Embassy. You should ideally get it next day in the Mumbai Consulate. Might take an extra day in Delhi. There is also an express facility, which will cost $38 if you want it on the same day.
Before you apply for the visa, be well-informed about your itinerary and travel arrangements inside Afghanistan. You might have to explain them to the visa officer. It is always better to tell them that you will avoid road journey and take internal flights to travel different cities in Afghanistan.
